The commercial is so funny. The presentation dose good job in exploring the stereotype of woman and explain well how advertise connected to the stereotype. Maybe you could explore more about the good and bad influnce of this stereotype.

I think you did a great job at explaining the stereotypes of women. I think you can look at why are more stereotypes intended for women compared to men in American culture? Hopefully that will lead you somewhere to get the reader seeing the difference between both gender types.
I think that you did a really good job with your presentation. You compared the stereotypical thoughts about women to how they really are. You could look at differences between both men and women and their stereotypes and also the stereotypes between adult and teenager.

I think you should talk about where these stereotypes of women came from, and maybe talk about how and why these stereotypes are perpetuates in American culture. The commercial shows the stereotypes of women, like being emotional, as bad. It would be interesting for you to look at if these same stereotypes actually help women in some aspect.

I like this guy doing crazy stuff in all his commercials....they are showing all kinds of troubles and bad luck that could possibly happen to a person. I feel like you have a good sense of connecting you commercial to your paper's topic,plus you have a lot of good comments to help too. So I d say good luck getting a good grade!
You could summarize that the reasons lead to become stereotypes. Also you could explain what is different thought to a certain issue between a normal people and a stereotypes.
I think your commercial choice is great, it is spot on with some teenage girls or young women I have met, but the stereotype doesn't fit all women. I guess talk about the different stereotypes of associated with women. I agree with those that brought up talking about stereotypes associated with women in other cultures to give a basis of "here's how women are seen there and thus here is how American culture is different". This would keep the paper to stereotypes associated with women instead of making it too broad by venturing out to explore stereotypes associated with other genders.
I think that your idea for your paper is really strong and concrete. I think that you will be able to make a great paper out of this because I could directly see the link instantly. Teenagers or women would both be good topics to go off of. You could bring up statistics of teenage vs adult vehicle collisions and male vs female vehciles collisions. There is a lot of research done on teen drivers so I'm sure you will have a lot to go off of. You might be a ble to look into the role of distractions and how easily different sexes or age groups get distracted if their is any data on that.
